Privacy Policy

Overview
Fliksy is a personal journaling app. Your journal entries, photos, and notes live on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your content, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Data stored on your device
Fliksy stores the following data locally using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- Your daily journal canvases, including sticker positions and timestamps
- Photo stickers you create from your photo library or camera
- Short notes attached to individual stickers (up to 280 characters each)
This data is stored only on your device. If you have iCloud Drive enabled, iOS may automatically back it up to your personal iCloud account as part of standard device backup — this backup is controlled by your iCloud settings, not by Fliksy.
Photos and camera
Fliksy requests access to your photo library and camera solely to let you create photo stickers. Photos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework to cut out subjects. Your photos are never uploaded to any Fliksy server.
Friends and sharing
Fliksy includes an optional Friends feature that lets you share your daily timeline with people you choose. When you use this feature:
- A snapshot of your day (sticker positions and photo data) is written to Apple's CloudKit public database under your Apple ID.
- The snapshot is accessible only to people who have your unique share link, which contains a private token.
- Shared data is not indexed or made searchable. Only someone with your exact link can view it.
- Fliksy does not have access to the contents of your CloudKit records — they are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Sharing is entirely optional. If you never use the Friends feature, no data leaves your device (beyond standard iCloud device backup).
Analytics and advertising
Fliksy does not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools. We do not collect crash reports through third-party services.
Children's privacy
Fliksy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account registration and does not communicate with external servers for core functionality.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual journal entries or stickers within the app at any time. To delete all app data, uninstall Fliksy from your device. If you have used the Friends sharing feature, you may also wish to remove associated CloudKit records — contact us and we will assist.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
